Science teacher Mary Jo Hoeft featured on 'CBS 5 This Morning'


Were you up early enough to see it? At 6:36 a.m. Nov. 17, Marcellus science teacher Mary Jo Hoeft was live in the studio for “CBS 5 This Morning,” to talk about the "Terrific Tuesdays" segment the news program produced about her and the lab classes she teaches for Marcellus students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

Reporter Allison Bybee and a cameraman visited Mrs. Hoeft’s DMS classroom on Nov. 6, to interview her and to observe a fourth-grade class conduct an experiment with chromatograms. The news team also sat down with DMS Principal Janet O’Mara.
