Students win awards at Edgewood Gallery art show
Speaking of art, four senior art students from Marcellus participated recently in the 2017 Annual High School Senior Show and Competition at the Edgewood Gallery in Syracuse, and two came away with awards. Artwork created by Abigail Van Camp, Thomas Fiacchi, Emily Pidkaminy and Anna Perry was on display during the second half of April, and an awards reception was held on Wednesday, April 26. Abby won the Special 3-D Award, and Tom won the Photography Award.
The show was open to high schools within a 30-mile radius of Syracuse. Each district can submit up to three pieces of two-dimensional work and one three-dimensional work.
