Stay informed about snow closings and delays

When school is closed or delayed because of weather or other emergencies, early morning announcements will be made over local radio and TV stations and news websites. Some news outlets, including NewsChannel 9 and CNY Central (Channels 3 and 5), offer free mobile apps that will send text and email alerts about school closings to smart devices.

In addition, recorded voice notifications will be sent to each household via telephone using SchoolMessenger. The primary contact phone number listed first in SchoolTool will be the one used for this contact.
