On Wednesday, March 18, and Thursday, March 19, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., each building will offer the opportunity for parents to pick up students' instructional materials. Any student who was absent Monday may have materials waiting for them. In addition, teachers will be reaching out to let families know if additional materials are ready for pick-up.
Staff members will be on hand to meet you at your vehicle at the following locations. Please provide your child’s name and teacher/grade level, if applicable:
Grades K-3 @ KCH: Pick-up will be in front of the main entrance or the door leading to the gymnasium.
Grades 4-5 @ DMS: Pick-up will be in front of the building (Reed Parkway side) in the circle.
Grades 6-8 @ DMS: Pick-up will be at the east side entrance near the clock.
Grades 9-12 @ SHS: Pick-up will be in front of the main office entrance.
If a student is in grades 7 or 8 needs items from their locker, please contact the DMS main office at (315) 673-6200 by noon Wednesday or Thursday. This will allow us time to gather the materials and have them ready during pick-up time.
For grades 9-12, it will be helpful to know your child’s locker number and specific information regarding items they will need from their locker during the period of school closure. Please contact the high school main office at (315) 673-6300 by noon Wednesday or Thursday. This will allow us time to gather the materials and have them ready during pick-up time.
We made the decision to send ALL students K-12 home with their electronic devices. As a result, we know there will be tech support needs in the coming weeks. If you have a need, please create a ticket using the link that will appear on the district COVID 19 web page. The ticket system is still being built, so please give us a few days and it will be ready to go. If you have questions about how to create a ticket, please call the main office and we will help you.
If you have any additional questions, or cannot pick up materials during these times, please call the main office for further instructions. Again, we thank you for your patience, support and flexibility during this challenging time.
